It is with deep regret & much sadness that after 18 years at Glasgow Scrabble Club, which I have attended since taking up the game competitively in March 1994 & watching Moya Dewar & the late Eddie McKeown playing a game containing so many weird words that I will no longer be attending at what has become my look-forward to Wednesday night ritual for this lengthy time, due to 2 incidents which have taken place in the last month by the same member against myself when the game I was involved in did not concern this member& is completely unforgiveable, John, therefore could you please change my affiliation on the ABSP ratings site. I will now be playing solely out of Cumbernauld Club. At the end of last night's play the selfsame member said that if the same situation arises in the future they
will follow the same course of action. A month ago when it happned I said nothing, last night I said I would follow the same course of action therefore an impasse has been reached & I do not want there to be any'atmospher' for the members. I would like to say a heartfelt thanks to the members for making it such a joy over the years until these unfortunate incidents & seeing me through my formative years in the game till the mediocre player I now am. I will continue to see the Glasgow players on the Scottish circuit & further afield & look forward to locking horns with them in the heat of battle in the future. I loom forward to returning to the club once the aforementioned member ceases going.

if you want to change your club on the ABSP website than I suggest a
direct email to John would be more successful than burying the request within
this email.
I'm not sure of the value of airing this domestic club issue on UK-s. If
there's a club complaint it should go to the club committee shouldn't it?
Anyway, looking forward to seeing you and Philips at Helen's for our Sunday
Best!
